Signum is a neural-symbolic programming language. Programs are compositions of pure reducers that pipe values through guards, binds, and iteration. The same .sig source runs through four compiler backends in the same tree — a tree-walking interpreter, an AOT path that emits C, a JIT built on asmjit, and an LLVM skeleton.
Hello, Signum
"hello" >> print
That's a complete program. >> pipes "hello" into the print reducer.
Your first rule
@ greet : a
name ~ a["name"]
(("Hello, " + name + "!") >> se_ok) ->
..
{"name": "World"} >> greet >> print
Five sigils do all the work: @ opens a rule, : names its argument, ~ binds a value, >> pipes, and .. closes the block. The -> is the rule's return.
Open the Playground and run it. Everything on this site runs through the same interpreter.
